The MTA (Manual Transmission Automated – C510) gearbox combines elements of both manual and automatic transmissions to provide a more engaging driving experience while offering the convenience of automatic shifting.

Here’s a basic overview of how the MTA gearbox typically works:

  1. Manual Control: Like a traditional manual transmission, the MTA gearbox allows the driver to manually shift gears using either paddle shifters behind the steering wheel or a sequential shifter in the center console.
  2. Automated Operation: However, unlike a traditional manual gearbox, the MTA gearbox can also operate in automatic mode. In this mode, the transmission uses electronic controls to shift gears automatically based on factors such as engine speed, vehicle speed, and throttle input.
  3. Clutch Operation: The MTA gearbox employs a traditional clutch mechanism, but it is operated automatically by the transmission’s control unit rather than by the driver’s foot. This allows for smooth and seamless gear changes without the need for manual clutch engagement.
  4. Transmission Control Unit (TCU): The heart of the MTA gearbox is its transmission control unit (Marelli CFC319), which monitors various vehicle parameters and determines the optimal shift points and clutch engagement strategy for both manual and automatic operation.

Knowledge, experience, calibration studies and bench tests are the starting point for the development of the above mentioned bin definition files (xdf).

A free tuning software combined with competitive prices (60 euro) are the milestones of our philosophy.

Through the definition files, the remapping software TunerPro identifies the engine working parameters which allow to obtain the maximum power and torque without affecting the degree of reliability.

TunerPro is a binary files editor, not able to read and write the engine control unit. To do this, you need an external tool. We don’t provide information about these tools.
