Following the frequently asked questions, we have implemented a new service to suggest you which tool is required to read and write an engine control unit.

ecu reading on bench tricore how to read an engine control unit how to read an ecu

How it works? Which information will you get?

Our core activity: We create customized XDF definitions for free software TunerPro which include the maps to manage engine and gearbox.
The XDF contains engine or gearbox maps that deciphers what each byte in the binary file stands for in the real world.
TunerPro is ONLY a binary files editor. It is not able to read and write ecu, it can only be used to modify the file read out from the engine control unit.
We also develop customized tuned files (stage1, stage2, etc).

This new service ONLY foresees support in identifying the correct tool (third-party tool) to be used for read and write an ecu/tcu.
In case of multiple tools available, at least 2 products will be provided along with a cost ranking.

Neither protocol/plugin nor connection diagram are provided.

Cost for each request is 30 euro.
